BUDDY SAILING SYSTEM
Any Member wishing to use the Buddy System must register their intent by seeing Ken or a Council member in the clubhouse who will then issue the following:

A note from the Commodore

A copy of the Buddy System Guidelines and Risk Assessment

·
|
A key to the clubhouse (cost £6)
|
|
·
|
A temporary Buddy System ID Card (laminated version will be sent by post)

·
|
A form to be completed and signed confirming the Guidelines and Risk Assessment have been read and will be adhered to (form to be retained in the clubhouse)

NO SAILING OUT OF NORMAL CLUB HOURS CAN BE DONE UNTIL THE ABOVE HAS BEEN COMPLIED WITH
IMPORTANT
The Buddy Sailing System is ONLY available to Members of Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club ie no guests or visitors may sail. Anyone found bringing non-members with them to sail may have their membership revoked.
If the system is abused in any way then we will lose it, so let’s take this opportunity to make more use of the water in both hands and have a great season.
