DERWENT RESERVOIR SAILING CLUB
Hi Folks

Happy New Year to you all and hope that you are looking forward to spending lots of time at the sailing club this season!

You should by now have received your renewal membership letter and form.

PLEASE NOTE: We need to be able to give statistics based on age categories when applying for funding so it is very important that ALL MEMBERS COMPLETE THEIR DOB ON THE MEMBERSHIP FORM.  THANKS.

Ian Nichol, Membership Secretary needs to receive your completed form and payment by the end of February so you receive the discount.  If you have any queries you can contact Ian on 01434 603367 or e-mail: membership@drsc.co.uk

A few bits of news for you plus an extract from the diary so you know when things start up again.  The full diary is on the website www.drsc.co.uk

RACE OFFICERS

Race Officers and Assistants are still needed to fill Sunday Racing fixtures which are highlighted in yellow. Please check the diary and make sure that if you plan to race your name is down for a Race Officer Duty. Contact Ann Penny annpenny70@hotmail.com if you need including for a Sunday Duty. Wednesday racers have the option of doing a Sunday Race Day, or assisting Ian Nichol on a Wednesday Evening. Please note that all racers are required to fulfill a Race Officer Duty, this also includes those sailors who only race on a Wednesday. Unfortunately in 2009, racing was only able to go ahead because some people didn't sail and did extra Race Officer Duties.
