Sunday Racing at Derwent has now started. Note the first race on a Sunday starts at 11:15a.m., with 2 races before lunch (back-to-back) and 2 races starting after 2:00 p.m. (back-to-back) after lunch. Wednesday racing starts on the 28th March at 7:00p.m. By now you will have received a leaflet with your membership showing the diary, however keep checking the website for updates. Please make sure that if you are racing, that your name is down for a Race Officer Duty. If you only race on Wednesdays, you still need to do a duty, either by supporting Ian Nichol on a Wednesday evening or assisting on a Sunday. Please contact Calum Polwart; calum@wittongilbert.free-online.co.uk

YEAR BOOK 2012 – A BIG THANK YOU to Simon Robinson who has produced the Handbook for numerous years and apologies in advance if I get it all wrong this year! As last year it will be left in the Club Room for collection and hopefully should be available at the end of April/ beginning of May – it saves the Club money if you can endeavour to pick up your copy – any problems contact IAN NICHOL tel. 01434 603367.
CAR STICKERS are once again being issued, to monitor who is on site, as well as provide information for records. Please ensure that all visitors on site are signed into the Visitors Book (Upstairs in Clubhouse), and collect a temporary parking pass if they have a vehicle. This is to help with maintaining comprehensive records and grant applications.
COMMODORE’S RECEPTION April 28th at 7:30 p.m. – more news to follow, so please keep watching the website, as all members past and present are cordially invited.
Finally – so much for a quick newsletter – I, and the Council, look forward to seeing you at DRSC.
Here’s to fair winds and good sailing.
