As the newly press ganged performance fleet captain it is my dubious honour to outline the benefits of performance sailing.
Performance boats currently sailed at Derwent range from Laser 4000's, 600's, Musto Skiffs and even a foiling Moth...
Musto Skiffs are the biggest performance fleet enjoying class racing on Wednesday evenings and every Sunday.
We actively encourage new sailors into the fleet with training and coaching sessions held throughout the year.
