The other fleets races were extremely competitive and showed a high level of skills in difficult conditions.  Once again, North Lincs were event winners with their team of fantastic sailors - great ambassadors for the sport.

8 Derwent Devils competed - 7 in the 3.5 fleet and 1 in the 4.5 fleet.  Lottie Philips finished in a well earned 3rd place in the 4.5 fleet.  In the 3.5 fleet we had many youngsters new to racing.  As mentioned above the conditions were windy so they did extremely well in winds they had not experienced before.  

Adam Jeffrey’s finished in a very creditable 3rd place and Alyce and Katie Tose were awarded a merit certificate for their performances.

Derwent Devils is growing in strength and we look forward to the next event at Pugneys on 19th September 2010.  They certainly are having fun and all are improving their windsurfing skills by racing.
