Weekend racing cancelled for Angel of the North
Racing is cancelled this weekend to support our University of Durham and Newcastle teams who are hosting a 12 team event. Buddy sailing will be permitted on Saturday and Sunday but there will be no dedicated rescue cover and the slipways and water will be very busy There will be a running commentary for the team racing event to explain what is happening in the matches. Come along and support our resident teams.

Derwent Junior sailors win the most improved trophy at the RYA Regional Junior Championships
At the RYA Regional Youth Championships at Ullswater SC this weekend Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club won a trophy for the most improved sailors This is recognition from the RYA that DRSC have impressively improved on junior numbers sailing at this event and with greater results achieved. Congratulations Archie: Northern Honda Rib Champion 2018!
Archie competed in the area final at Scammonden on Saturday to be crowned RYA Northern Region Honda Rib champion. Skiffs, lasers, fifteens and handicap fleet all have a thrilling bank Holiday regatta.

Family Week
We had all kinds of weather this week but the sunshine from the smiling faces was constant!
