Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club has a long and successful history when it comes to helping people to attain their sailing goals, whether it be just pottering, cruising or racing.

We have members who have gone on to sail all over the world and others have achieved great things on the race circuit; and we can include among these Regional, National, European and World Champions, not forgetting Youth and Olympic Squad members.

We are at present running our extremely popular RYA Level 1 and 2 training Courses which can be booked via this website.

For more information about further RYA level 1 + 2 courses contact: Ann Penny Training Principal: training@drsc.co.uk

Wetsuits, buoyancy aids and dinghy boots are provided, however please bring extra layers if learning to sail in the colder weather. Long hair needs to be tied back for safety reasons.

Adult Dinghy Sailing Courses: £250 per person, with £100 reduction from membership, if joining during the weekend of the course.

Adult Dinghy Sailing Courses for Club Members: £150
