Derwent Reservoir Sailing Club has a long and successful history when it comes to helping people to attain their sailing goals, whether it be just pottering, cruising or racing.
Indeed we have members who have gone on to sail all over the world and others have achieved great things on the race circuit; and we can include among these Regional, National European and World Champions, not forgetting Youth and Olympic Squad members.
We are at present running our extremely popular RYA Level 1 training Courses which can be booked via this website.

General Advice
Wetsuits, buoyancy aids and dinghy boots are provided, however please bring extra layers if learning to sail in the colder weather. Long hair needs to be tied back for safety reasons. Presently access to the Clubhouse is limited due to CoVid restrictions, so please come wearing swimming costumes under clothes.
