RYA Junior Stage 4 sailing course

Start Sailing Stage 4

Minimum duration: Approximately 2 days, 16 hours or equivalent number of sessions

Minimum age: 8

Required Experience: Sailing skills to the standard of Stage 3

Course Content: Transferring pre-learnt skills, techniques and manoeuvres to sail crewed boats, enhance rigging, launching, recovery and practical skills to recover a man overboard.

Certificate issuing criteria: Can sail a double-handed boat on all points of sail. Launch and return to a beach, jetty or mooring in moderate conditions.

Booking

Booking will become available after the previous course has completed - roughy one month before the course - this is due to limited instructor availability this year so we can only offer places to fit in with available instructor ratio.

Only one course can be completed in a weekend

Cancellation Terms

In the event that the course has to be rescheduled due to weather conditions and we are unable to offer you another suitable date, we will fully refund the course fees. If you choose to cancel less than 2 weeks in advance of the course date you will be refunded 50% of the course fee, cancellations / changes prior to 2 weeks will incur an administration charge of 10%. If you cancel within 24 hours of booking a full refund is made.
