"Try a boat" day

This is an opportunity for club members, who may be thinking about buying a boat, to come and try two popular classes sailed at the club. Sometimes it is a good idea to get a boat which has an existing and active fleet within the club. There is a healthy competition in racing, and you've also got people you ask for help with rigging, etc.

The laser is the most popular single-handed dinghy at the club, and has a range of sail options to suit everyone. The GP14 is a double-handed boat and has long been an active fleet in the club. Both fleets would very much welcome new sailors.

Thanks to the kindness of club members who will let you sail their boats, we hope to offer (weather dependent) a short session on the water for you to "try before you buy". There will also be a chance to ask questions from experienced sailors.
