Boat Storage

If you wish to store a dinghy / windsurfer / canoe at the club it costs £25 per berth per year. An invoice will be sent to you once you have done the following step
How do I allocate myself a space?
There are 2 options for finding a space in the boat park:
- Email Laura: boatpark@drsc.co.uk to ask which berths are available (preferred).
- Check the boat park register at the club to find an available berth, and then write your name, boat type, sail number in the register for us to update the system and invoice you. Email Laura when you have found a berth with your berth number.
Once you have an allocated place, please place a DRSC sticker on your boat with the berth number on for identification. Stickers are available next to the boat park register. Place somewhere visible on your boat/cover or trolley.
The boat park register will be kept in the clubhouse at the front entrance near the notice boards and rescue office. If you wish to find a berth yourself, please use this to check which berths are not allocated as a starting point. It includes a map of the dinghy park to help you. Please email Laura with any updates you make (boatpark@drsc.co.uk).
If you find a berth unoccupied in the club grounds, do not cross that boat entry out of the register as the occupier may be away with their craft or even out sailing. Check you are in the correct row, reading the correct section of the register. If you find a berth empty in the club grounds, do not assume it is unallocated before checking the boat register folder.
It is your responsibility to keep your berth looked after. There is a strimmer available for use at the club.
When you renew your membership each year you will automatically be re-allocated the same berth for your craft, unless you advise it has been moved.
New stickers for your craft will be issued each year.
