We have exclusive access to 1000 acres of crystal clear water in the picturesque scenery of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our well equipped Clubhouse has a bar, fully equipped changing rooms, and spectacular views over the whole reservoir and the surrounding Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Opening Hours:

The Club is open from March - December on Saturdays and Sundays and April end September on Wednesdays. Outside these times members can sail with a buddy for safety.

Professional Galley:

We have a professionally run galley, providing lovely home-cooked hot meals and snacks through-out normal sailing sessions.

Free Parking:

We have plenty of free parking spaces for members and visitors.

On-site Camping:

Our onsite facilities offers members and non members who are attending the club for organised events, the chance to enjoy weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday) overnight camping or siting of members own caravan, to have a BBQ and when possible access to the club house to socialise in the bar whilst the children play outside. Cost to members is a nominal fee of £80 per year and £5 per night for non members. Due to the nature of the weather in the area we do not allow tents to be up during the week.

To place a caravan on the club field you must hold either a current family or individual membership.

Caravans may be used at the club from 1st April (subject to ground conditions) until 31st October.

Caravans must be logged within the caravan register on line with membership secretary.

It is expected that caravans will be used regularly. Members who do not comply may be asked to remove their caravans from the field. As a guide, those who do not expect to use their van at least once per calendar month between the start of the season and 31st October should use the field as an overnight facility only and remove their van after each stay.

Caravans not removed from the site by 31st October without prior permission will be removed and placed in storage at member's expense. In this case a removal charge of £150 will be imposed by the club in addition to storage charges.

Keys to the gate must not be copied or lent to other members.
