Optimist North East Championship

We are delighted to announce that we will host the International Optimist Class Association (UK) North East Championships at the end of June.

Event entry is open and has an early registration discount until 16th June. All registration must complete by the 23rd June - no registration on the day.

Derwent will also host the RYA Regional Junior Championships in September, which will include the RYA's Optimist Selector Event for Regional Training Group places. This event will provide an ideal introduction to the water and larger fleet racing for those not used to this.

For Optimist Sailors who are newer to racing, this even will have a Regatta Fleet.
