Pumpkin Paddle

Pumpkin Paddle Saturday 30th October 1600 on the water.You are cordially invited to join us for a seasonal witch paddle before the Halloween/Bonfire party. Fancy dress witch and wizard outfits and/or vessel decoration are encouraged. Paddle whatever you can, SUP, canoe, optimist hull, all good. Plan is a social paddle, photos and some fun races. In particular, we are going to try out a broomstick race, brooms only, no paddles - bring your most paddleish broom.*Be on the water for 1600, or rock up late, it doesn't really matter.Obviously, it is all weather dependent. I'll add a note about the forecast closer to the time.Safety bit:

Safety cover will be on the water and we will stay near to the club.

All the usual rules around clothing and buoyancy aids apply.

Please assess your own ability and that of any juniors accompanying you, we will make the event as inclusive as possible.

Fancy dress, lightweight costumes please! Safety will have the final say but please no giant rhino suits or anything bulky or absorbent.

*Disclaimer: the broomstick paddle will almost certainly be an absolute shambles.
